Turkey vs. Farmer is a "rhythm poison" style game.
Students are given a rhythmic pattern that represents the farmer. Students must avoid the farmer's rhythm, or they will be caught!
Game Mode allows teachers to have students play the "turkey vs. farmer" game without the full-length version.
Get THREE different GAME MODE levels with THREE different versions for each level!
YES! NINE different GAME mode videos are included:
Level One: Quarter Note & Rest
Level Two: Paired Eighth, Quarter Note & Rest
Level Three: Sixteenth, Paired Eighth, Quarter Note & Rest
'Write the Room' is a super fun activity that allows students to get up and moving while writing & performing rhythms.
How it Works?
The teacher hides the rhythm cards in the room (printable card cut-outs are included in the resource).
Students are given the "finder worksheet" (also provided in the resource) and must find the different rhythms around the room.
Listening Activity Included via Google Slides! Students listen to rhythms in a different order and must identify the rhythm heard by matching the rhythms found during the 'write the room' activity.
Seriously... your students will LOVE this activity! ❤️
AND... with the answer keys included, it's even easy for a non-music sub to implement. 😀
